Andrew Morrison, a native of Cheshire, England, is Executive Chef of Fairmont Pittsburgh and Habitat restaurant. His began working in the kitchen at the age of 14 peeling potatoes and washing dishes. Previously, Morrison held positions at the Fours Seasons Atlanta, Four Seasons Miami and as chef/owner of The Chipper, his internationally acclaimed fish and chips shop in Queens.
Morrison is loving life as a new Pittsburgher and was delighted to find out what this city has to offer. He is also very proud of his English heritage and loves pork pies and boiled cabbage. If you think boiled cabbage is bland, it’s not! He’d be happy to prove you wrong.
He also refuses to reveal his age. So don’t ask. If he weren’t a chef, he would be a race car driver or a guitar player.
